Tasting pretty fresh for almost five years old. Not a hint of oxidation.

Clearing out the “cellar.” Founders sucks but these held up very well.

Still drinking great. I feel that the roast is the predominant flavor.

Glass from properpints.shop Going on 5 years, this has definitely fallen off a bit. Getting mostly the roasty coffee from it.

Flavors are peak right now! Just a hint of bourbon and the coffee and chocolate shine.

Unbelievably smooth after 5 years in the cellar. Glad I have a few more to share.

I don't like to support these racist dudes much anymore, random 2017 was given to me by thank you beer. I've always thought these were overrated honestly. It's not bad.

Drown my sorrows in this absolute shit fest of a Pats game 😡

The only reason it’s not still a 5 is that any nuance is gone. It’s straight coffee bitter into woody barrel sweetness. Not bad things, it aged well and is still a smooth, delicious treat.

Cellar clear out. Before it was a year round release. Holding up very nicely. OG.

Been drinkin some shelfturds from my basement cellar… figured I’d check in to a few. been trying to drink 1 a day to eliminate the unnecessary stock. This has been better than recent releases.

Tastes pretty similar to the 2016. I'm going to pretend I tasted a difference though

Here's the booze. Still smoother than otherwise, but this is this first sharp alcohol of the lineup

WOW! It’s smoothed out the booziness and has given way to strong chocolate coffee flavors to savor!
