Surprised it’s still drinking pretty solid. First of a mini vertical of Cellar clear out 2023!

Second bottle. Has a lot of coffee on the nose, and a decent amount of bourbon with barely any booziness. Some liquorice comes in at the end. BBE 30.11.17.

Sju år gammel rakker, smaker omtrent som beskrevet i 2021 og 2019. Lett alkoholvarm, mørk kaffe og sjokolade.

Rich boozy coffee nose. Similar in flavour but more earthy and chocolate hints. It’s mellowed out a little after 6 years but this was worthwhile for the wait. Best part this was a beer gift from someone that keeps on giving 🤍

Seems to be way beyond its prime, perhaps bad storing, but besides a quite thin body, it's mainly oxidized malt, chocolate and bourbon at this point. I hoped that warming up the beer beer would open up a bit, though it certainly added more layers ..

• 7 Y old and my 4th hit at this batch • surprisingly still got a very lively, fizzy and annoying carbonation, which never will take it to KBS heaven • mostly coffee dominant, but a very splendid one • bourbon has taken a minor role in this 2016 movie 🎥

7 years old makes it’s impact on BA taste. Still though it is lovely smooth and creamy. Some coffee obviously in a moderate way. Taste is ecoming a bit dry. Still a hint of Bourbon - but as said it’s minimised by now

• 5th • company with Miranda and Line • served really over carbonated, but a toss between glass did the trick • still a good coffee note in more distant bourbon BA wrap • small tobacco and cocoa notes

What a week. What a month! Time for a cellar beer. 8 years + a move upstate. Less boozy than I remember. Sweet, chocolate, carb has faded.

Doft av kaffe, russin, mörk choklad, kakao och vanilj. Fyllig och len munkänsla. Smak av kaffe och mörk choklad, hintar av fatlagring vid sidan av. Något bitter och torr eftersmak med inslag av kaffe och fatlagring.
