If you enjoy a nice dark ale you'll enjoy this one. Smooth but no overpowering flavors. Just a nice blend.

“01.24.20” Murky dark garnet red (age/sediment)/lumpy off-white head, dark sweet nose/malty bitter palate, hint of smoke/peat, good scotch candy linger, still great

Juniper and roses together with lots of malts. Sweet, complex taste. Spiced and malty. A proper bargain!

Bayern weet nog geen raad met de Mexicanen maar wij wel met deze Amerikaan. Founders, legendarische brouwerij uit Grand Rapids, Michigan. Deze is héérlijk.

Mooi schuimpje, moutje in de neus, roasty, koffie/karamel zoetje, licht smoky. Hoppy aan het einde en daarna een plakkerig zoetje

So far liking Backwoods better. Very good at 54, tastes like black strap molasses my dad used to enjoy. I'll try at different temps to see how it changes and if I should buy a case.
