Interesting. A little too sweet when cold, mellowed out as it warmed up. Nice combo of an ale and an old fashioned.

Resembles an old fashioned with pronounced bourbon, orange and some cherry. Sweet and full bodied. Lingering mandarin orange into a long finish.

Good, sweeter than I would like, wish it had more barrel/bourbon to it, but still good.

Good just slightly chilled. Balanced and not too boozy. More like a malty barrel aged beer than an old fashioned.

Reminiscent of KBS. Quite smooth and sweet. Cherry, not as much bourbon as I expected. The bottle however was a year old. Enjoyable. 3.7

First of all, Old Fashioned cocktails are my favorite way to enjoy bourbon. This light ale does a good job of grabbing the bourbon notes from the barrel, even if just slightly, and has a nice orange peel note found in the aftertaste.

Nice taste, but honestly was hoping for more from this, since I love actual old-fashioneds.

FLW. Solid beer. Get what they were going for but misses the mark. Tasty beer though.
