Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter

Brown Ale - American

They don't make 'em like they used to... or do they? The bottle shop series is a tribute to the folks who supported ragtag brewer's across the country when craft beer was in its infancy. when beer enthusiasts sought out innovation through big flavor, in your face complexity and revered quality above all else. This series is for you: the distinguished beer connoisseur still seeking the revolution that energized the industry we know today -- that settles for nothing less then the very best!

It is what it says it is, but it's like an olive garden highball

Love the bourbon boozy sweetness and the cherry. Pretty sweet but so good. Not really a highball though (whiskey + club soda). Maybe a Cherry Old Fashioned? Or a Manhattan? (I like to put a little cherry juice in mine). Vanilla: believable. Orange: a tad

Adventure beer that does infact taste like an Old Fashioned. It's solid.

First of all, Old Fashioned cocktails are my favorite way to enjoy bourbon. This light ale does a good job of grabbing the bourbon notes from the barrel, even if just slightly, and has a nice orange peel note found in the aftertaste.

Lots of good things going on here - dates, fig, cherries, vanilla, caramel & booziness. Sweeter than expected, it’s not an issue. Well done & delicious. Today’s sports day starts in the UAE where it’s Shabab Al Ali Dubai 0 - 1 Al Ain SC - 36 minutes in
