Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter

Brown Ale - American

They don't make 'em like they used to... or do they? The bottle shop series is a tribute to the folks who supported ragtag brewer's across the country when craft beer was in its infancy. when beer enthusiasts sought out innovation through big flavor, in your face complexity and revered quality above all else. This series is for you: the distinguished beer connoisseur still seeking the revolution that energized the industry we know today -- that settles for nothing less then the very best!

So much lighter than i could imagine. Sweet and muddled fruitiness like an old fashioned. More like a brandy. Love it.

“Like an old fashioned” they say. I say stick to old fashioned. First sip is insane. The rest is a mental institute lol

Tikje zoet en veel vanille en mis de kruiden en de sinaasappel schil daardoor een beetje, desondanks wel heel lekker.

Translucent copper amber color, foamy khaki head, soapy lacing, sweet orange, vanilla, and light bourbon aroma and taste, caramel malt backbone, molasses and cherry notes, light lingering bourbon finish.

You gotta admire Founders for their ability to create beers with really wacko taste combinations that somehow feels totally natural. Malt, caramel, vanilla, orange peel, lemon, bourbon and hops are delicious, definitely!

Definitely a sipper … smooth and boozy … good choice to toast one of my favorite performer’s passing … thanks for the gift Dave!

Cloyingly sweet. I added a couple dashes of bitters and a squeeze of lime and that helped a bunch.

Does a really good job with the old fashioned notes, cherry, muddled orange a bit of sugar and bourbon barrels

Vanilla, sugar, cherry, orange, a good take on an old fashioned cocktail. Bourbon barrel booziness
