Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter

Brown Ale - American

They don't make 'em like they used to... or do they? The bottle shop series is a tribute to the folks who supported ragtag brewer's across the country when craft beer was in its infancy. when beer enthusiasts sought out innovation through big flavor, in your face complexity and revered quality above all else. This series is for you: the distinguished beer connoisseur still seeking the revolution that energized the industry we know today -- that settles for nothing less then the very best!

Definitely my favorite Founders Brewing Co 🍺 and I've tried quite a few of them. Almost didn't pull the trigger on this puppy but so glad I did now. These will definitely be in my winter rotation. 11% ABV, 25 IBUs with a nice little bourbon taste 🍻

It was very good but I thought there'd be a stronger whiskey flavor.

Fruity, cherry aroma. Fruity, herby spiced middle. Very different beer. It is kind of similar to a bourbon cocktail. Impressive, unusual beer. Good, but I wouldn't want it all the time.

Is this a beer or a mixed drink? Not sure if this is a repeater.

I try over and over to like bourbon barrel beers... 🤮 But I’m a team player and because I don’t want to skew the average based on my distaste for this one, my rating is totally based on everyone else.

I was skeptical of this, but it really works. Vanilla is subtle, some caramel, and a hint of orange peel. A bit of spice finish, but not overwhelming. The bourbon is a little noticeable. Well done.
