Bottle Shop Series Highball Drifter

Brown Ale - American

They don't make 'em like they used to... or do they? The bottle shop series is a tribute to the folks who supported ragtag brewer's across the country when craft beer was in its infancy. when beer enthusiasts sought out innovation through big flavor, in your face complexity and revered quality above all else. This series is for you: the distinguished beer connoisseur still seeking the revolution that energized the industry we know today -- that settles for nothing less then the very best!

Boozy with the cherry notes coming through with a little smokiness. A nice sippable beer to start the vacation.

Definitely the best old fashioned inspired beer I’ve had. Smooth finish and lots of cherry notes.

Boozy. Orange. Cherry. Definitely has an old fashioned vibe. Not bad.

I think this is as intended, but still cant get into this one. Call me "old fashioned" I guess. Even if I do live in the correct state.

Surprisingly not boozy. Somewhat sweet with a bit of cherry up front and a nice orange finish. Solid, but not something I'd like to drink tons of.

Orange soda nose, some sweet cherry upfront. Not really BA forward, but it comes with each sip as it goes down. Idk about any brown ale base. Any of those characteristics are lost w/ the adjuncts. Fun beer, but PWs old cocktail series destroys this. 3.85+

Double imperial brown ale, barrel aged with bourbon and brown sugar! Everything about this beer is right up my alley! Boozy sweet brown ale! Can taste the orange peels on the back end very complex but nothing too strong.

Got that cola bourbon thing going, with some sugar, candy, orange and especially cherry. Boozy warmness settles in near the end and hangs around. Still, goes down far too easily for a 11 percent ABV

Probably the best old fashioned style beer I've had yet. Cherry and orange on the nose and all the right old fashioned flavors without losing its beer qualities. Almost refreshing.
