Night and day difference from the 2015 I had the other night. Most flavors of the 2015 besides coffee fell off, this has them all still and it's still delicious.

Coffee is completely gone as is much of the barrel character, still a good stout.

Bitterness dies as it warms. Pretty mellow barrel at this point.

BOOOOOOM ! NEM SEI SE MEREÇO ISSO ! aroma alcoolico alegante, bourbon delicioso. Chocolate, baunilha, café, torra, licorosa, bastante madeira. Encorpada e muito complexa. Poderosa ! Envelheceu maravilhas !

Great oily pour. Bourbon and coffee are strong on the nose. Flavours bloomed as it warmed, with chocolate emerging. Coffee really complemented the barrel flavours. Little burn on the finish, making for a smooth experience.

Moving on to breakfast. This 16 has held up with a nice pour and still heady. . . Trying to decide what to drink for lunch 🤔🍻👍🏿😎

ah yes, the year founders got a centrifuge. Much more coffee, harsher booze, more disjointed than 15 or 17. Still a world class beer though
