Tastes like an old fashioned strong ale, bitter and malty. Not overly sweet like a lot of barley wines. Very nice

This beer is like when you wake up in the middle of the night and your mouth is so fucking dry it literally chokes you. Love it.

Surprisingly bitter for a barleywine. Easy drinking for such a big ABV.

From Sunday night. I remember it being good and easy drinkin’ for the style and ABV.

Solid, nothing super remarkable considering the brewery.

Boozy, malty sweet nose and flavors. Thick black and high carbonation. Ends in bittering hops.

Made for a good share beer. Bottled in march. Kinda sweet. Not a shabby barleywine

VBS2 #9 Dit is een flinke jongen. Aanwezige droge hopbitterheid die tijdelijk wordt overstemd door een warme (alcohol-)zoetheid

A hoped and high IBU barleywine. It was good but I would of liked it more on a lower IBU
