A cherry ale aged in maple syrup bourbon barrels? It’s weird. It’s really light in body, not very carbonated and oddly smooth. The first flavor to hit is a smooth ale-like maple syrup and then the CHERRY hits. It’s alright, but kinda tastes like medicine

Well. My man law: No fruit in beer. However not too bad after the first few sips. But one was enough.

Not nearly as strong as other bourbon barrel aged beers, balanced well with the sweet cherries and maple

Light cherry juice, caramel, oaky vanilla. Just a touch too sweet.

A bit sweet to start; mellows as it warms. Want more barrel. More of a morning beer than night beer.

Smooth & Sweet. Reminds me of the Kentucky Nip I used to drink as a kid, only with a Kick!

Cherry front, rolling red through wheat, bumping a hop, but finishing clear.

I’d say it was a cider if blindfolded. Crisp and dry, tasty cherry with bourbon undertones

Cherry taste, but maybe the cherry/maple makes it too sweet? Bourbon barrel smell, but not so much in the taste.

So sweet. Tastes of cherry, maple, and barrel, but somehow not much of beer! I like it but it’s a weird one.
