Very easy to drink For a barrel aged beer. Also very easy to drink considering it’s cherry. I actually liked it quite a bit. Not a style I would typically choose but I think it was very well done.

Leuk bier. Doorschijnend rood/paars met mooi wit schuim. Frisse kers, gezoet door de esdoornsiroop. Bourbon haal ik er niet uit. Wel het eikenhout van het vat. Licht zuur/rins, niet té zoet, (tannine)bittertje. Lekker!

Maybe I've become accustomed to Founders beers being BIG. This 8% ABV light colored ale is refreshing although far from what I expected from a maple syrup bourbon barrel-aged ale. Rich in flavor without being heavy.

8% abv.🇺🇸👁Clear ruby red with foamy white head.👃🏼Cherries & bourbon.👄Creamy, smooth, soft & velvety. Cherries, oakey, bourbon, vanilla, maple & tart. Full, sweet & fruity. Very nice! LCI.

It tastes like a cherry sour that mellowed out most of the sourness in the aging… sweet notes of maple and a vanilla bourbon finish…fantastic!

Sweet, but not overly. Decent cherry notes. Sweetness come from two sources, cherries and maple syrup barrels. Aged 1 year. Ages well.

Very Cherry forward, but crisp and sweet and perfect for a sundowner.

Smells strong maple and cherry. Tart cherry with notes of vanilla, maple and bourbon. This was different and it’s easy drinkable for this ABV🙄

Something different. Cherry, but also heavy and not overly sweet. I am unsure of my opinion on this. Five more over time will change that.
