Found an old bottle from two years ago and the taste has mellowed amazingly. It's smooth and tastes great.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge Letke

This particular bottle was aged 2 years and it is magnificent. Sweet on the lips from the maple, then the coffee, then the chocolate notes. Perfect.

Barrel Runner Letke

Not my favorite, but definitely lives up to its name. Flavor of rum is strong.

Double Trouble Letke

Great beer. Flavor profile is all over, in a good way. Tickles the taste buds. Hops, sweetness, not overly bitter.

Frootwood Letke

Sweet, but not overly. Decent cherry notes. Sweetness come from two sources, cherries and maple syrup barrels. Aged 1 year. Ages well.

I was aprensive at first, but was pleasantly surprised. The cocoa and vanilla are the first notes, finished with vanilla and the cinnamon.
