I’m not sure what to think. Lighter than I expected and flavors are subtle, mainly cinnamon. Not sure what’s up with this and the fudge variant. But both light and not KBS label worthy IMO.

I LIKE cinnamon, and this is too much for me. Totally out of balance. All the KBS flavors I love - cocoa, coffee, roasty oak - are dominated by the cinnamon. Had with a regular 2019 KBS which made it even clearer.

Ok, but the coffee and cocoa are strong. The fudge version is more to my liking, but we'll see how this one ages.

Light cocoa flavor followed by a strong roasted (almost burnt) malt flavor. Not the flavor mix I was anticipating.

Strong cinnamon, wish it was more vanilla or cocoa

Cinnamon comes across a bit harsh, especially in the nose.

I guess not really my flavor, maybe too much cinnamon? It was a fine beer though.

Cinnamon challenge! Not for me.

3.80 very light cinnamon, zero barrel, according to their label not very highly acclaimed by any means. Recommend changing that label up right away.

It’s a good cinnamon stout, but a pretty sad decent from what KBS once was. Literally don’t taste the barrel or much of a KBS base. Not sure this variant was needed or worth releasing.

Agree w Ryan B. Really good cinnamon stout but no barrel flavor or much else not a fan

Solid, the cocoa, vanilla and cinnamon come thru nicely but can’t understand why this beer has to be so bitter and invasive to the palate, why can’t founders soften this out to make it a nice and smooth experience… maybe this is not to be understood…

Little coffee, too much cinnamon, little vanilla, not my thing

Not a fan of this rendition, the cinnamon overpowers the more nuanced vanilla and cocoa.

I get the cinnamon but the bourbon masks the cocoa and vanilla. It’s ok . Mackinaw Fudge is still the best KBS .

All cocoa with a cinnamon kick at the end. Not too big on this variant, I’d keep the mackinaw fudge over this. Sitting on the thin side, light remnants of the KBS base that got me hooked

Not bad. Can taste the cinnamon and other flavors. The roastyness takes over though.

Cinnamon and other flavors not well balanced in this bottle

very thin.. kinda fake cinnamon.. not their best effort...

Tasty, though the coffee tastes kinda changes the rest of the flavours.

Far too much cinnamon, vanilla comes through a bit. Would love more of the cocoa & chocolate stout flavor to come through over the cinnamon and have that blend a bit more

Another BBA at room temp. and all I'm getting is boozy. Will post again when chilled.

It’s good. But the price tag isn’t worth it. Definitely not the best variant of KBS

Thin. No coffee. No cinnamon. Vanilla is more like caramel. This ain’t KBS.

Nit sure if I’m disappointed in founders or disappointed in myself for thinking I’d like this. But proper glassware.
