Pours black with some tan lacing. Aroma is strong, cinnamon, malty, coffee. Taste is roasted malt, cinnamon, vanilla, very nice.

Vanille, bourbon en cacao zijn een goede combi. Maar helaas die kaneel nekt het voor mij een toch wel.

I definitely prefer the espresso to the surprisingly bitter finish of this variant.

Bottled 8.12.21: Not as “syrupy” as some KBS pours can be. Really rich cocoa body, sweet vanilla follows. I’m not getting a lot of cinnamon right away, but for sure as it warms. Decent, smooth BA character. Definitely a KBS, and a solid variant at that.

De formule van KBS stelt eigenlijk nooit teleur. Heerlijke combineren van smaken! De vanille ruik ik wel maar proef ik helaas niet terug

Simply incredible. For my personal taste, this is one of the best stouts out there. I really like stone brewing co xocoveza, this is similar, but is in a different league. If you like KBS, get it.

Maybe I just need it to be at room temp but it seems to be a thinner version of the Christmas Bomb.

Wow. I really like this. You can taste every part of the name. Like a Mexican hot chocolate without the chilie.

Pretty good, sweet with the cocoa and vanilla, maybe a little much on the cinnamon but not bad, nicely complimented with the barrel aging.
