Minder zoet, maar (koffie)bitterder dan verwacht. Wat een geur, wat een nasmaak! Complexer dan de meeste stouts (gebrande koffiebonen primeren)

Zacht voor het percentage, koffie, wat bourbon en chocolade. In het aroma ook wat chili, maar dat merk ik niet in de smaak. Gedronken na de Hazelnut en deze bevalt me veel beter.

Not as thick as I’d expect for a 12% stout these days but this is still great for flavour.

KBS with a stronger coffee note. Not revolutionary but better than the original. Strong alcohol time finish distracts from the flavor. Bottled 8.18.21 1913 6

Bottled in August 2021 and has held up well. I let this one warm up and I think it helps the roasted coffee flavor come through. The barrel flavor isn’t overpowering but present. Nice balance of flavor.
