Smells strongly of whole bean coffee. Tasting brings out chocolate and vanilla.

Similar coffee and chocolate flavors of the breakfast stout but a bit lighter in mouth feel. Hint of vanilla and moderate bourbon taste mixes in well

The bitterness of coffee, sweetness from the milk sugar, and a nice warmth from the barrel, a nice easy drinking brew.

I wish this was a tad bit thicker, but then I guess it would no longer be a brown.

The perfect beer to toast Valentine’s Day❣️ I believe this is my first brown ale in bourbon barrel and it’s delish! Hints of chocolate, vanilla and coffee had a high note. Oh-la-la!

No super bowl party for me. I’m quarantined as the wife has Covid. How can she be so inconsiderate to have Covid on Super Bowl Sunday? She doesn’t feel well, but she’s OK. She’s a teacher so she making lesson plans for the substitute teacher.

Still have a hand full of these left. Drinking real good chocolate and vanilla barrel at the front. Creamy. Drinking a lot better then I remember from last year.
