Automatic +.25 for 8.4% in a 19.2oz can. Pine on the nose. Smooth. Surprising sweet fruity finish. Some clove in there? Malt on the very back.

Aroma is a bit toward NW hops, less tropical, a bit more bready malt showing through. Flavor is more tropical like a mango Jolly Rancher. Sorry Tara E. No Starcatcher; thanks Seymour B. for looking.

Finishing August on a high note with another 19.2oz spontaneous find. 8.4%’er & 50 IBU’s and an Imperial that satisfies.

Hoppy with coppery red notes. A dry taste with a thick syrupy sweet finish. Gets heavy as it warms.
