Toasty, toasty and rich, this Porter is right up there with Founders Porter as a contender for the gold standard of porters. MyGrade: B (above average)

Nice representative of a good porter. Light Coffee colored instead of deep black. Good but I love the normal Founder's porter more.

The nose on this is punching above it's weight class in terms of roasty malt and coffee notes. The body is bone dry and has light cocoa to brighten the body a bit. I'm not a huge fan of porters overall, but this one has got some meat on it.
