Before Untappd when MySpace, flipphones and BeerAdvocate were king we would drive for miles behind the distributor just to snag a full 4 pack of KBS. There was also a cult following for this beer. It's been at least 10 years since I've had it.

Incredible roasted malt flavor. Nice aroma. very mild alcohol taste for the ABV. not astringent at all though. wish I could find something similar.

Excellent beer. Barrel aging is light and beer is smooth.

My kind of beer. On par with CBS and not as sweet in my opinion. CBS is my first love, which is why it always gets a 5.

Mug Club bottle pick-up. Light maple and barrel but better as it warms. A little thin.
