The coffee and chocolate are there on the nose, awesome medium-thick body with notes of coffee, milk chocolate and caramel, slight bitter cacao and a nice splash of warming bourbon on the finish, love KBS! Congrats Matt on 7000 unique and thanks Hop D.

This version seems thinner than others, still tasty but not the best KBS I have had, hopefully not a trend.

Had to compare the 2019 to the 2022... Great staple with consistent great flavors!!! I'll let the rest of them age a bit, just had to do the comparison test.

Coffee bitterness, thinner than I remember. Crazy this used to be 1 bottle limit and waiting in line for an hour.

Love that barrel aged flavor. The coffee kick is pretty nice too along with the abv. My walking around beer at GRR.
