Lots of great roast-y robust flavors that balance the sweetness in a wonderful way. A rich, full body makes this work really well. One of the best barley wines I can remember having.

I think this rates lower than it should. Not traditional BW sweetness and probably more hops than people prefer. But it’s fantastic.

Super boozy with nice caramel and toffee flavors throughout. Pretty thick, nice outdoor beer!

Light malt and bourbon aroma, starts out with a rich malt that transitions to bourbon mid palate and finishes with a light roasted malt.

Sweet, boozy nose. Boozy forward. Sweet. Medium body. Roasty malt. Barrel flavors hide most of the hops, but herbal, piney hop notes show in the finish. Good BA barleywine
