Smooth and easy drinking. I get the slightly caramel malty-ness and the hop character is fruity.

Crisp up front and very hoppy. Reminds me of a west coast style with long-lingering bitterness.

Sweet, oaky nose. Taste is bitter dark chocolate and spice is subtle but lingers for a long peppery finish

Lots of great roast-y robust flavors that balance the sweetness in a wonderful way. A rich, full body makes this work really well. One of the best barley wines I can remember having.

Mellow/aged tequila and raspberry on the nose. Taste has lots of raspberry but the tartness is a little muted. It finishes fruity but has some mellow tequila notes too. LOVE it!

(Left) Did not expect the hop character this beer brought after seeing its color. Hoppy nose with a mature, mellow hop character and a roasty finish.
