This was a complete surprise. Dubbels are always a good start. I never heard of orange wine before, but it added a lot of pleasant flavor & nose. Smooth & malty. Definitely will do a Founders Advent calendar again.

Digging one out of last year's Advent Calendar! Last night's brew! Very unique and holding up perfectly. ππ»

Super strong. Lots of orange taste, heavy notes of wine.

A boozy 9.6% Belgian Dubbel (aged in Spanish fortified orange wine barrels). I picked this up at the brewery last month.

Slight orange .. I think i like the straight double barrel better

Fairly smooth for a dubbel. Nutty, dry, with slight citrus in the background. Does not have the typical Belgian flavor

Founders Advent Calendar Day 24. This is solid. Great orange wine coming through. Light soft Belgian malt. Itβs got a hint of heartiness coming through. This reminds me of Westy 8 with a bit of an orange kick. Fuckin awesome.

Orange flavour is definitely there in the finish, but that initial hit of caramel is what I'm most fond of ππ
