This isn't bad, but there's a vaguely medicinal quality to this that kind of reminds me of cough syrup; still good but not as good as the lime =0)

The smoke is minimal in the nose, but it's got a really pronounced and delightful aftertaste -- I'm INTO this =0)

Definitely rich and coffee-forward, but the cherry's a bit muted; still dang good, man =0)

This is wild, man -- strong roasty flavour and definitely some hazelnut in there, but the finish is almost like Peanut Butter? It's good but I think it'd definitely benefit from some sweetness =0)

Dude, the nose on this is PHENOMENAL, like straight up maple syrup. On the palate, you absolutely get cinnamon and vanilla, and it's fairly sweet, but my principal gripe is that it's so fucking THIN. If this were thicker, this would be an EASY 5⭐

Orange flavour is definitely there in the finish, but that initial hit of caramel is what I'm most fond of 😍😍

KBS Hazelnut (2022) Krist

This is a fucking ROLLERCOASTER, bro -- big, dark, boozy, and that hazelnut flavour is in FULL effect. That said, I was shocked at how much I dug it on the initial taste, and the mid transitions to not great, but the finish is solid. I'm perplexed, haha.

B.A. Black Biscuit Krist

I get a bit of the maple in the nose, but not so much on the palate. Not bad by any stretch, but I think I had higher hopes for it. Sweet, but I was hoping for just a touch more.

Founders Old Fashioned Barley Wine Krist

BIG orange flavour, mellowing into muted tart cherry -- there's something about this that feels *very* slightly off, like artificial, but I can't fully put my finger on it. Still delicious though.

Velvet Rush Krist

This is REALLY nice -- a fair bit of coffee flavour to it, but with a dating sweet finish. YUMMMMM.

Frootwood Krist

FUCK. ME. RUNNING. Dude, this is SUPER sweet and that cherry flavour is ON POINT. Not as dark as what I would normally gravitate towards, but that flavour is SO GOOD, I'm not going to demerit it a point.

Blushing Claus Krist

Even BETTER than the Padre -- that orange flavour definitely comes through along with the cranberries, and PERFECTLY accents the raspberry. This is fucking DOPE.

This is SUPER good -- sweet, with some *really* nice raspberry flavour to it. Honestly, I was prepared to give this a 4.75 UNTIL I tried the Blushing Claus 😍😍

My absolute FAVORITE thing about the description for this beer is that it uses the word "mouthfeel" 4 times, so you know it's good 🙃 Jokes aside though, it's decent, haha -- fair bit of tropical flavour to it, not overly sweet, with a good bit of hops.

Not sure how I haven't added this before, but damn tasty -- strong, but coffee is definitely dominant. Really solid base =0)

A really solid improvement on the KBS base -- Cinnamon is definitely the star of the show and the vanilla is unfortunately a bit relegated to the background. Despite that, this is DAMN tasty =0)

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2017) Krist

Fucking YUMMMM -- definitely a bit more on the sweeter side, big, and thick, with some fantastic maple flavour coming through 😍😍

Mango Smoovie Krist

There's a nice, delicate balance of sweetness and tartness to this that's aided in favor of sweetness by the lactose; definitely lends a bit of creaminess to it that bolsters the sugars. This is solid, man.

Brabantiae (2018) Krist

I have to fully agree with the Untappd characteristics -- musty, woody, and rustic is pretty damn apt description. Surprisingly decent.
