Chocolate and biscuit malts. Not bitter. Maple barrel aged.

Favorite one so far - love the maltiness and basic biscuit malt flavor. Slight bourbon barrel notes.

Very interesting beer. Booze is there but a mellow flavor. Can taste a little bit of chocolate, but the biscuit is there. On the thinner side, which it is considered an ale, but looks like a stout.

They’ve just got 6 packs of this sitting around for $20? Incredible. 2021 bottling, seems it’s been kept cold for a year, tasting pristine.

Whiskey, maple, biscuit, some black patent, well-hidden alcohol. This was a lot more innovative 12 years ago, but still a good brew.

This popped up on tap while we were there and man if it isn’t a whale worth hunting. Super good, ultra smooth and pillowy, biscuity maple. BeerAdvocates #1 ranked old ale

Thrilled to try this. Decadent and refined. Big maple bourbon, soft and sweet, chocolate biscuit roasty. Went down dangerously easy. Listed at 12%.

Sweet, sight maple and some barrel heat on the back. Biscuity for sure and it works.
