Just a baby and a brew. Really good. Wish I would have been able to have the Og.

Maybe the best bourbon-barrel stout I’ve had. Not overly boozy

Similar to Curmudgeon but more roast, not as sweet, slight barrel. Quite good.

Well this is a delight. Smooth, rich. Delicate maple finish.

I get a bit of the maple in the nose, but not so much on the palate. Not bad by any stretch, but I think I had higher hopes for it. Sweet, but I was hoping for just a touch more.

Digging the thickness, subtle sweetness, and barrel. Nice job Founders. Great job Lions as well. You just lost the number one pick so your mediocrity can continue!!

Starts a little sweet. Not too boozy. Hints of molasses, maple, and a slight bitter finish. Solid BBA old ale.

Meh, I guess old ale isnt for me, even with maple and bourbon.

Didn’t have the non barrel aged version, but I do t get a lot of biscuit or breast flavor. The sweetness of the bourbon is pretty prevalent.

Sweet, not a ton of barrel coming through. Very good.

Thick for an ale, not as a thick stout. The maple is very light. There is some kind of interesting ginger or peppery thing going on in the first swallow. Very nice ❗.

Maybe a chocolatey character I wouldn’t expect for an old ale, but I like it. Really nice beer regardless of what you call the base style.

Boozy and biscuity. One can really taste the bourbon barrel.

Not a huge fan. The char came through more than the maple and molasses

Strong BA taste in a black ale. Sweet but not overly so.
