Classic 2018 recipe. Five years later, and it’s holding up FINE! So happy to get it on tap at the source.

French Toast Bastard (Barrel Aged Series 2022) Trembacki
Very rich in sweetness, and all of the flavors are strong and blended well.

Very well done and thankfully subtle on the flavoring.

Kentucky Breakfast Stout (KBS) (2017) Trembacki
Five years didn’t hurt the typically nice flavors. The nose was very strong after the pour but waned. Slight burn was a little more present, but overall it was super smooth and a little thinner and easy to take in large, delicious swigs.

Unreal that I’ve never checked in with this. Founders is really hitting me well lately. This is so classic and pure and simple in its delights. Doesn’t try to do too much. Chocolatey coffee rich in the stout w/just the right dab of bourbon from the aging.

Blushing Claus (Mothership Series) Trembacki
Sweet like Rubaeus but triple the potency without any additional burn in the taste. Only available in-house for now, this was a delicious raspberry treat, about as sweet and tart as you’d expect but pretty pure and unimpeded by its base.

KBS Cinnamon Vanilla Cocoa Trembacki
A nice find! All of the featured flavors meld extremely well without one overpowering the other, and the full-bodied bourbon backbone is not a boozy burn, though the punch gets packed. Unexpected but at the same time Founders maintains its rep.

Nicely done for a barrel-aged brown ale! There’s the titular rush and what lingers is a fog of vanilla coffee that keeps you coming back.

Can’t believe I’ve never checked this in because it’s a solid repeat buy for me. Smooth, earthy, and robust, it does the trick with no boozy burn.
