Lots of bourbon left but overall flat. Last of the 2018’s.

Breakfast Stout (2016)

Found in the back of the fridge. Seems to have aged beautifully. Mellow coffee, chocolate, creamy awesomeness.

French Toast Bastard 2023

Tasty but not in my humble opinion BiL territory. Bit of bourbon, cinnamon and a maple kiss.

Canadian Breakfast Stout (CBS) (2019)

Forgot how good this is. Brings me back to when I would race to Grand Rapids in hopes that they would run around with the Canadian flag signifying that they have it on tap. Got lucky once.

All Day IPA

Cool new place in Shelby. Farmhouse kitchen.

Frootwood (2017)

Cherry sweetness has settled down and a kiss of maple and bourbon are left. Actually enjoy it now.

Curmudgeon’s Better Half (2018)

Still a really nice sweet/boozy elixir. The 2023 Founders cellar purge continues.

Backwoods Bastard (2016)

2016. Lots of lovely barrel. Slightly sweet with touches of chalk and pencil.

KBS Espresso (2019)

More booze than bitter coffee left. Clearing out cellar.

Bit of an odd aftertaste that I can’t put my finger on.

Sweet and boozy. Kiss of maple. Getting better as it warms up.
