Metallic aftertaste from the hazelnuts but better than previous years batches

They hit that hazelnut HARD. As someone who doesn’t like coffee AT ALL, this doesn’t hit that for me. I get hazelnut creamer with the lightest hints of chocolate. No bite from bourbon to speak of.

Would be rated higher if I liked hazelnut more. Thanks Dan K.

Just watched a Bert Kreischer comedy special... So wrong but so funny! Cheers to Saturday night!

Great nose compared to taste profile. Got much better as it warmed.

Didn’t think I would like the Hazelnut but not bad at all.

Hazelnut in the nose and very promising popping in the mouth before getting somewhat lost in... roasty stout.

Surprise beer and flowers - I was spoiled! Thanks Rick ❤️

Unmistakably hazelnuts in smell and taste forcing the chocolate and coffee a bit to the background and a very subtile Bourbon barrel finishes it. Nice choice for #4300 👌🏻

Just because it says Hazelnut don't tell yourself that will cut the coffee. Very hazelnut!

Hazelnut is very prominent. Moderate level of booziness. Solid stout.

LCI. Med hasselnøtter oppi betyr det mindre plass til kaffen. Og det er bra.

Not bad but not as good as some other KBS flavors

According to my bio sheet, this beer is from my home state of Michigan. It’s an Imperial Stout that was brewed with hazelnut coffee and chocolate and then aged in bourbon barrels. No secret Cobra military bases will be built in my home state on my watch.
