Not your typical Oktoberfest. Malty, nutty, dark, smooth with a little bite at the finish. At 10 points, it is not for the light-hearted.

Smooth and rich bourbon flavor with a caramel sweetness of a marzen.

Interesting. Lots of flavors from the wood and bourbon. It gives it a richness kind of like a dessert on top of the sweet marzen character.

Good caramel color, nose and palate have a lot of bourbon to them. Has maltiness, good flavor, although not sure I get a true Oktoberfest taste behind this one. Definitely boozy and good though.

This just may be my new favorite Oktoberfest. Huge malts and a little something else from BA. Can’t believe it’s 10%, thanks Dunno!

Outstanding. The light and malty character of an Oktoberfest beer allows the bourbon barrel taste to come through beautifully. I’d drink again any day. Pairs well with anything by Frankie Yankovich.
