Gave it a higher score because you can't even tell it's barrel aged...founders legit never makes even just an average beer

Solid. In many way I’d rather drink one of these over a few regular October fest style beers. It’s malty and sweet but a nice boozy kick to the finish. I wish they had a proper emoji for this. 🍻👍🏽

Really good. Gets rid of a lot of the crispness of Oktoberfest beers I don’t like and adds strength and bourbon hints. Damn near perfect. Granted, if they served this at actual Oktoberfest, you’d probably die…😂

Beautiful Oktoberfest color and aroma. Rather sweet with just a tad bit of warmth stthe back. A goodBBA thatdoesnt lean too heavily on the bourbon.

Very boozy, very sweet. Malty, nutty. Probably the best Oktoberfest beer I've had. Strong.

Yeah, this is really good. Every Oktoberfest should be aged in bourbon barrels. Only knock is the lack of any head

Probably one of the best barrel aged brews ever, marzen profile with spectacular BB notes. Sweet, vanilla and caramel notes, zero bitterness, very smooth almost creamy

Thought the bourbon would overpower the maltiness of the maärzen, but this beer has a light touch of the barrel that shows up at the beginning and then let’s the traditional flavors shine through. Well-construction.

Really excellent. Doesn’t have that heavy and sweet mouthfeel so it’s a little dangerous because it is also strong!
