Interesting that this bottle had more barrel. My first couple were mellow but this was better.

The barrel age thins this out and almost makes this seem light but there's a little heat in the finish to remind you this is actually a big boy. I like the idea of this but execution misses the mark IMO

A barrel aged Oktoberfest beer! I knew if I didn’t try it, I was going to regret it so I definitely had to get some! Super smooth and sweet!

Great beer. Bourbon, malty, some caramel, and boozy!! We missed the hurricane here in my part of Georgia. But we did get the strong winds. Have had a few trees blow over. I’m praying for those in Florida that got hit.

that’s an interesting take on a marzen. big boozy, in a good way. huge toffee, bready, light body but robust in flavor.

Ultimate or extreme? I mean Who really needs a 10% barrel aged Oktoberfest. I mean it’s fine with some smooth vanilla and bourbon qualities. But Just completely unnecessary.

Strange mouthfeel. Almost salty in flavor and a bit buttery. Otherwise passable as a Marzen. I like the hint of Bourbon.

Big, full bodied sweet Carmel malt flavor. Super boozy, with small hints of oak. Almost has a rum flavor with the sweet booziness. Perfect for a chilly fall night.

No hiding the bourbon barrel notes in this Oktoberfest. Big bold barrel notes over a smooth and slightly sweet Marzen. True sipper
