Founders Advent Calendar Day 15. Tastes like an Old Fashioned. This is orangey and bourboney. Real solid all around, but a little cloying on the finish.

A lot of bourbon flavor without much of the bite typically found in a high ABV brew like this. Smooth and sweet, caramel and bourbon are most evident. Cherry is there but distant. Orange… not really. Much better than I thought it would be.

15/24: Have a bunch of these from the Bottle Shop series in my cellar. New label looks great. Tastes similar to an old fashioned, minus the strong bourbon booziness.

Nice with “something else”. A brown ale almost looking like a red ale. Taste of bourbon n orange peel. Prob nice for the holidays but wouldn’t buy again,

A lot spicier than expected, tart cherry keeps the sweetness at bay. Tasty, reminiscent of an old fashioned cocktail.
