Bourbon barrel aged (in maple syrup barrels with whole vanilla beans). Maple is present.

I get maple and burnt sugar. Vanilla does come through as it warms.

Dark and way smooth for the ABV. The Vanilla negates the Maple Syrup and Bourbon Barrel flavours; but it's as rich and creamy as any Stout of similar specs. Love it!

Probably the best Founders beer I’ve had to date. The bourbon flavor doesn’t over power the vanilla and maple.

Op de oppervlakte klopt het helemaal; zachte dunne romige porter. Milde chocolade. Lichte maple en zoete vanille. Ingetogen barrel. Maar het is slik en weg. Verder weinig diepgang.
