This was a pleasant surprise, a bourbon barrel aged Porter with vanilla & maple syrup. Nice bourbon aroma, good vanilla & maple flavors, vanilla dominant. 9.2% ABV.

Opaque black color, foamy tan head and lacing, roasted malt, vanilla, maple syrup, and oak aroma and taste, sweet vanilla and maple syrup notes, full body, smooth subtle bourbon finish.

Robust porter. Slight maple and bourbon, touch of vanilla. Really a deep roasty flavorful porter.

A lot of bourbon, wood and vanilla, then dark chocolate and hints of licorice and light maple syrup. Bitter finish. Great!
