Brought up some KBS from the cellar to share with friends. Pleasant evening, delicious beers. Favorite of the whole selection.

Nose is straight chocolate. Flavor is much more coffee. You get the earthy coffee up front and a sweet dark chocolate behind that thanks maple. The sweet dark chocolate and coffee is equal throughout the center of the flavor profile. Great mouth feel.

This fudge has developed better in 1.5 yrs. Notes of KBS using Mackinac Fudge coffee, then adding maple syrup & aging it in oak BBL’s. Chewy w/ bitter chocolate in a sweet dessert Stout. Best variant recipe hands down.

Had to abandon the ‘18 KBS (4 yr rule!). This has developed better in 1.75 yrs. Notes of KBS using Mackinac Fudge coffee, then adding maple syrup & aging it in oak BBL’s. Chewy w/ bitter chocolate in a sweet dessert Stout. Best variant recipe hands down.

Every bit as good as the previous version. Thick, rich chocolate, bourbon, coffee, and maple syrup. Phenomenal!

My favorite KBS variant. Chocolate fudge w/swirl of maple…bourbon notes envelopes the whole. So glad it has come back. World class!

Glad to find this down here in Florida. Don't get much maple flavour but boy is it smooth. Helps to warm up, we had temps in the 60s overnight. Cheers!

While at first this was lighter and slight hop at the finish over its 2020 counter part... As it warmed up it matched the same mouthfeel and flavor as it is in 2020. Beautiful. Keep releasing these.
