This seems to be much more smoked in flavor on tap versus when I had it out of a can.

You can’t tell much since there’s not much of an aroma, but the taste more than makes up for it. Blast of sweet vanilla to start, trailing off with a heavy coffee flavor. Maybe a bit too much coffee, but a great porter 🍻🎄

Definitely drier and more bitter than I expected with the name. Roasted malts really shine and provide a smoky flavor and dry mouth feel. Didn't really get much vanilla. Solid porter though.

I prefer their unadulterated porter to the stuffy addition of vanilla, but they did it well.

Hands down the best porter I have ever had. Vanilla up front but not too sweet. Coffee at the back with a chocolate background. Complex flavors with perfect balance. If available I will have this from October to April yearly.
