One of my favorites for sure. Strong, but smooth. Slightly sweet.

This is one brew — at least on draft — that Founders hasn’t f’d up. Balls and taste. It’s a little heavier on the coffees and a little lighter on the body-inducing oats that would be nearer my ideal, but man it’s good.

Brownish head. Coffeyish nose. Soft coffeyish and malty taste. Slight grassiness in the taste. At the end bitterness. Slight hints of bluecheese in the taste. Some hoppiness too. RB 2010

It tasted watered down from what I remember. Maybe that was a draft/keg issue.

Great stout! Absolutely resounds with chocolate and Kona coffee notes. Meaty and smooth, exactly as a solid stout should be… Like a small piece of hula pie in a pint.

A little more coffee than stout, but that’s what makes it dangerous. It’s smooth as all hell
