Strong coffee in the nose and in the finish. (I would prefer a little less.) Hints of chocolate that comes out more as it warms. So full bodied one could call it rubenesque.

Getting a little long on the tooth. Still good, but getting hard to discern individual characteristics. Improved as it warmed.

Nearly 4yo and going strong. Pretty much the same as previous checkins. DavidL: Not as sweet as the 90 min, but I think you'd like it.

Great for sipping. Full bodied & sweet. Even after 14 years in the cellar, it's still one of my favorites.

Sweet, smooth. Alcohol warmth, but not the burn that I recall from "fresher" 120's. Although, the back of my tongue and roof of my mouth are numb. Dessert IPA?

Another that's been in the cellar for quite a few years. I'm picky on the Belgians that I like and this one of them. Not as estery as most. Just enough sweetness comes out more as it warns. Pleasant.

KBS Maple Mackinac Fudge (2020) Owens
Should have started the night with this. OMG. the fudge! Everything in the description and more. Like eating a square of fudge. Thick, rich, sweet, black strap, and overwhelming in a good way. Wow, crazy! Got a 4 pk. 2 going on the cellar.

Cellared 2007 vintage. Dried fruit, very sweet, strong alcohol warmth that lasts. Slight earthy bitterness that lingers. Some toffee.

2002 vintage? Found in my cellar. No date or abv listed. It was in a case with others labeled 2003. Perfect for sipping after dinner or in the hot tub. (Where i an now. TMI?) Sweetness totally offsets the hops. Love this stuff. It does age well.

Can't remember where i found this. After 3yrs in the cellar is mellowed. Very well conditioned and balanced. Oak notes complement the hop bitterness. Alcohol warmth, but not boozy. Bourbon on the back. Very, very nice.
