Butterscotch med bitter og ever so slightly peaty undertone. Ikke fullt kompleksiteten til feks Yorkshire Stingo eller Pohjalas Shilling Ale, men for all del, satt godt en høstdag 👍

Really good good for an ale. Reminds me of a chocolate stout actually. Bonus pints for the name and description. “Ain’t for the Wee Lads”

Sometimes you just want something that is well balanced and malty. Nice classic beer.

Weer eens wat anders... Het zoete van karamel en iets fruit voert de boventoon. In de verte iets turfachtig met een mooie lichtbittere afdronk.

I like this a lot but my earlier 4.5 is over enthusiastic. A solid Scottish ale with rich flavors and wonderful maltiness.
