Darkbrown colored ale with hints of chocolate, caramel, malts, nuts, butterscotch and raisins. Light sweet finish. NICE!

(retro rating from 2015) this is quite the scotch ale. So I good I've enjoyed it more than once.

Haven't gotten into Founders for awhile but thought I'd give this old favorite Scottish Ale a whirl It's as good as I remember and I found a sixer for $7.99 WOW! I'm used to paying double that and more. Smooth ale but I still miss Founders Imperial stout

Gjenganger her i huset. Ikke helt der oppe med de beste, men for halve til tredjedels pris av sammenlignbare er dette et kupp. Karamell og smørtoner på duft. Litt ubalansert bitter i utgangen.
