Drinking at room temperature, mostly. Nice and hearty on these colder days, but no crazy flavors, just traditional goodness. Also good as the basis for a flip.

Lovely hit of malt scent upon opening and pours smoothly with foamy head. The malt taste is strong which dwells in your mouth. Does slightly lack a dark fruit distinction of most Scotch Ales. The 8.5% ABV is noticible.

Smells like dark bread. Tastes a little sweet at first and then develops into bitter. Hard to articulate, definitely complex but delicious
