Dirty Bastard

Scotch Ale / Wee Heavy

So good it’s almost wrong. Dark ruby in color and brewed with seven varieties of imported malts. Complex in finish, with hints of smoke and peat, paired with a malty richness and a right hook of hop power to give it the bad attitude that a beer named Dirty Bastard has to live up to. Ain’t for the wee lads.

De geur is top, het lijkt wel whiskey. Een mooie bruine schuimkraag die wel snel weg is. De smaak nog niet zo top maar dat komt nog wel als het bier iets warmer is dan nu +/- 6 graden.

8.5% Scotch Ale I really enjoy a Wee Heavy, and this is no exception. Smooth with a good mouthfeel and a flavor that coats your mouth (in this case, that’s a good thing). Malty with notes of dried fruits, hopped up (pun intended) by generous use of hops.

A very nice malty brew. Not what I expected for the style. Pairs well with porch storm patrol
