Dirty Bastard

Scotch Ale / Wee Heavy

So good it’s almost wrong. Dark ruby in color and brewed with seven varieties of imported malts. Complex in finish, with hints of smoke and peat, paired with a malty richness and a right hook of hop power to give it the bad attitude that a beer named Dirty Bastard has to live up to. Ain’t for the wee lads.

Oh man, bad timing. This stuff is like Drano after the joy that was Bourboun County. I'll have to try again another time to give it a fair shake.

Still good, but a bit heavy for a warm evening eating pizza.

I’ve had this in the fridge for a least 3.5 years. Aroma is still really nice. Sweet caramel, fig and licorice. Taste matches. Still decent acidity. Sticks to the palate. Great with this potato, carrot, chicken stew.

I didn't remember trying this earlier. This is on draft, the other was canned. This was actually much better than last time.
