Got a wee heavy Scotch ale here that's both dense and super smooth. Rich caramel notes is absolutely right with maybe a hint of chocolate malts to complement. Drinks easy for an 8.5% ABV. Not a style I seek out generally but I'm cool with this.

More intense than I'd have expected, it's as strong as somebody who doesn't like dark beer (not me) would go I imagine. I like it for the smoky and stronger qualities.

It's better cold. I really taste no sweet. I taste nothing they say on the front of the bottle. It's not bad, I just hoped for more.

Roasted malt aroma and flavor. Subtle sweetness with a bitter aftertaste.

Malty and strong and a bit boozy. Molasses or caramel sweetness.
