Smokey, strong, hard-likerish, whiskey-like, with 8.5% alcohol and very heavy alcoholic taste that takes out on the enjoyment.. :/ it has a really nice smokey and chocolatey taste though, but probably wouldn’t drink it again.

Never had a Scotch Ale before. Have way between a brown ale and a porter. Would go great with a meatlover's pizza

Roodbruin. In de neus vooral moutig en licht bitter. In de smaak moutig met een iets te aanwezige bitter. Niet echt complex en redelijk in balans. Wel wat vlak van smaak. De afdronk is vooral bitter. Niet echt mijn bier, had hogere verwachtingen.

Strong, almost bitter taste that I’m not loving. Founders has best named beers nonetheless
