Dark, thin brown pour. Smells big of malt, slight rye/barley & something that’s sweet. Taste is also big of caramel malts, with a hoppiness, while mild, hits unexpectedly. Starts sweet, then a little piney, then ends bitter. This base bastard’s not bad.

I've had it once before. Isn't hitting quite as good as it did. Still a great one though

A nice change on cold fall evening fro n the IPAs. As the label says, "Ain't for the wee lads."

VG. Like this better now than last time I had. With all its 7 malts, it has an Imperial Russian flair, altho not quite as alcoholic or complex.
