Lovely hit of malt scent upon opening and pours smoothly with foamy head. The malt taste is strong which dwells in your mouth. Does slightly lack a dark fruit distinction of most Scotch Ales. The 8.5% ABV is noticible.

One of my favorite winter time beers. It is -9 degrees right now here in Nebraska and I’m having one now. Cheers

Loads of malty molasses, with a rum-like finish that grows as the beer warms.
