A/Bing the Dirty and Backwoods Bastards. Backwoods is the clear winner, though both are good. Oddly, my own historical ratings are backwards, probably because I tried Dirty much earlier when my craft beer standards were lower.

A classic. A standard. It's always nice to comeback to the DB. it's smooth, rich, malty and jus right boozy. Love the flavor, love the flow. It's really something that stands alone, and that's why it will always be in rotation.

No me apasiona. La encuentro muy dulce y muy amarga. Aromas dulzones y tostados, melaza, toffe. Boca de inicio goloso y de final muy recio. Caramelo y leve cacao con final astringente, vegetal y seco. Fondo levemente tostado. Al beber se va redondeando.

Modder op je schoenen na een lange wandeling. Je vader die z'n auto schoon laat spuiten na dat in de lente de Sahara-zanden uit de hemel op z'n opel neergekomen zijn en je binnen zit, diep onder de indruk van het lawaai van water op metaal op glas.
